Beavercreek Siblings Fear For Lives While Visiting Beirut

Two siblings are relieved to be back home after being stuck in a war zone.

Sam Rouphael, 16 and Celine Rouphael, 14, were born in Lebanon, but have lived in Beavercreek for the last 10 years. Every summer they return to Beirut for a couple of months to visit with family and friends.

This year’s trip turned out to be very scary for them. For 10 days they feared for their lives as Israeli warplanes dropped bombs around them.

The teens had to go into Syria in order to fly back to Beavercreek. The two said they are very concerned for their family and friends in Lebanon.
