Authorities said Victoria Long, 37, was found beaten to death inside the home on Thursday morning by a man who had come to the home to help with some home improvements.
Investigators said Long's 35-year-old boyfriend is accused of beating her to death. Detectives said Long and her boyfriend lived in Brookville and were making improvements on the home in Englewood so they could move into it.
Police said Long suffered extensive trauma to her body and there were signs of a struggle inside the home as it suffered damage as well.
Officers arrested Long's boyfriend at the home and took him into custody. At this time, he has not been formally charged.
