The invader didn't get the pills he came in to CVS to steal, Spencer said. Something happened while the robber was in the business that spooked him, Spencer said.
He said police had information there would be evidence at the house in Trotwood connected to the CVS attempted robbery and other suspects in other area robberies.
"There is a definite possibility that there is some connection," Spencer said about the items seized, the attempted CVS robbery and other area robberies. "I can't confirm that they are linked at this point," he said.
Police are focusing on one or two individuals -- possibly a third -- who may be a part of a bigger group of suspects, he said.
No arrests have been made, he said.
INITIAL REPORT
Items confiscated from a home in the 4100 block of Whitestone Court in Trotwood may be tied to the attempted robbery of a CVS Pharmacy in Moraine hours earlier, a Moraine police sergeant said.
He will not disclose what police took from the residence, but did confirm the possible tie to the incident at the pharmacy that included a high-speed pursuit.

The sergeant said the residents who were at the address when undercover police arrived just before 5 p.m. might not be involved with what was found in the home.
He did not elaborate.
Police from Moraine and Trotwood, as well as Montgomery County sheriff's deputies, were at the house for nearly two hours.
