A woman was arrested yesterday for running her boyfriend over with her Jeep and fleeing the scene.

Krista McClellan, 45, was charged with felonious assault and domestic violence--both felonies, according to a Dayton police report.

Forat Al-Brahi, 52, stated he and McClellan were arguing before she became upset and struck him with her 1997 Jeep Grand Cherokee at 1821 Emerson Avenue. She allegedly ran over his back and then drove away.

Al-Brahi had black tire tread marks on the back of his shirt and red marks on his right shoulder and back area.

He said his shoulders and back were sore, but declined to go to the hospital stating he had just gotten out for broken ribs on his left side.

McClellan and her Jeep were later found at 43 Boltin Street, where she was arrested and transported to the Montgomery County Jail. Her Jeep was also towed.

Her next court date is set for July 9 at 1:45 p.m.
