Despite several flood warnings throughout the torrential storms Friday Butler County dispatchers are reporting there weren’t many flooding problems.
Butler County dispatchers said they did get one call about a problem in the Hueston Woods area but when deputies arrived the water had receded.
All other county dispatch centers say they did not get any weather-related calls Friday.
James Gibson, a meteorologist with the National Weather Service in Wilmington, said the county was under a flood watch but only 1.2 inches of rain were reported at the Butler County Regional Airport.
“Butler didn’t get the heaviest rain as the other counties did,” he said. “They were under the flood watch.”
