Firefighters said they were able to put out the flames quickly and damage to the structure was contained to an upstairs bedroom.

Investigators said careless smoking is to blame for a home that caught on fire Monday.
It happened around 3:15 p.m. on Bowen Street. Authorities said there was one person at home when the fire started, but managed to escape safely.
