Cause Sought In Castlebrook Apartments Fire

Investigators are looking into what caused a fire Monday night at the Castlebrook Apartments in Trotwood.

Officials said the residents called firefighters after smelling smoke. Investigators said they are not sure what caused the fire, but they said it started in a kitchen wall on the second floor of the building before spreading to the third floor.

Fire officials said the first floor was also damaged when water pipes broke. They said at least three apartment units were damaged.

Officials said no one was injured in the fire.
