Champps in West Chester closes after bankruptcy filing

Champps at the Streets of West Chester is now closed, an apparent result of a cost-savings measure by its parent company.

A sign just inside the restaurant at 9424 Civic Centre Blvd. reads “Thanks for the memmories (sic). Closed.”

The signage on the front of the restaurant has also been taken down.

The move follows Dallas-based Last Call Guarantor filing for Chapter 11 bankruptcy last month. Prior to the August filing, the company had operated 48 Fox & Hound locations and 23 Champps with restaurants in 25 states.

Fox & Hound has a location at 5113 Bowen Drive in Deerfield Twp., which remains open.
