She practiced under the name Adrienne Brooks from an office in Xenia. She lived in the township outside Springboro with her husband Doug Hrenko and their two children.
Hrenko’s car wound up in a ravine about 100 yards from where it left the road, Clearcreek Twp Police Officer Daniel Morgan said. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators continue to look at possible factors that caused the crash and are awaiting lab results.
“We know at this point speed was a factor,” Sgt. Wallace Stacy said.
Morgan said the roads were wet from a light rain and that might have been a contributing factor. The cause of the crash was unknown, and there were no signs that she had been driving distracted or under the influence of drugs or alcohol, Morgan said.
Duke Energy responded to repair a utility pole that snapped in the crash. Officials said there were wires down on top of the vehicle.
Hrenko graduated from Brookville High School in 1997 then went to the University of Dayton. She received her law degree from Tulane University in New Orleans in 2004 then admitted to the Ohio bar later that year. She practiced criminal and family law.
