Aurthorities are now revealing new details about the events that led up to Brandon Moore's death including the 911 call after Moore allegedly assaulted his 16-year-old girlfriend. Just minutes later, another 911 cam in reporting that Moore was struck and killed by a car on nearby I-75.
Students returned to school Monday and were greeted by grief counselors to help them deal with Moore's death.
David Jackson, Principal of Northridge High School said, "The Northridge community is truely a family. We stick together. We're there for one another and we encourage and comfort one another. That's what makes this place very special."
Meanwhile, investigators are looking into whether Moore violently assaulted his 16-year-old ex-girlfriend just minutes before his death.
Police said the girl was asleep when Moore allegedly came into her house, dragged her outside and began beating her with a concrete tabletop.
Family members of the girl said she is in very bad condition in the intensive care unit of Miami Valley Hospital.
Relatives also said the teen couple had had a rocky relationship and had just broken up on Saturday morning.
Police reports indicate that Moore had been charged with abduction and aggravated burglary two months ago after breaking into the girl's house and threatening her with a knife.
