“He was in his basement getting his work clothes out of the dryer and putting them on,” according to a Dayton Police Department report. “He walked up the steps and as he did so a black male wearing a dark gray hooded sweatshirt and black work pants shoved the barrel of a semi auto handgun into the left side of (his) head and asked him, ‘Where are the stacks at?’”
Stacks is a term used to refer to cash or stacks of money.

According to the report, the man told the gunman he didn’t have anything, and the gunman’s unseen accomplice said, “The old man doesn’t have anything.”
The victim was ordered to stay in the basement, which he did until the men left through his garage.
It appeared they had gone through the drawers of his bedroom, the closet, turned over the couch cushions and went through the kitchen cabinets.
The burglars took a DVD player, a flat screen TV and some DVDs and CDs.

The gunman was described as 5 feet 10 inches tall with a medium build and maybe in his 20s. He wore something over his face and was carrying a 9mm or .40-caliber black semi-automatic handgun.
