Armed juvenile in custody after foot pursuit

An armed juvenile was taken into custody after he ran from police Monday morning.

Shortly before 7 a.m., police responded to Haberer Avenue on reports of three masked juveniles following someone. Police were able to located the teens, and during the pat-down, one of them took off running with a gun in his hand.

Police pursued the juvenile on foot, and were able to take him into custody on McCabe Avenue without further incident.
