Car windows smashed in Kettering

Three cars were broken into in Kettering, less than half a mile apart.

In separate Kettering police reports, car owners complained that their windows were smashed and items taken on Wednesday April 8.

One break in occurred at the Marshall Road Church. some time between 4:30 p.m. and 8 p.m. A 2002 Toyota Camry’s driver’s side window was broken and a woman’s purse was stolen. She reported her credit and store cards stolen.

Another vehicle parked at the Presidential Banquet Center was targeted, some time between 5:45 p.m. and 9:15 p.m. The owner of a 2006 Toyota reported the driver’s and rear driver’s windows were broken. The thief took a 15” Dell laptop and the man’s checkbook.

At Skateworld on E. David Rd., a man reported his 2008 Chevy Silverado was smashed and a Toshiba 17” satellite lap top was taken, along with text books. This crime was reported to have happened between 6 p.m. and 7 p.m. on Wednesday.
