No charges in probe of missing Dayton golf course money, carts

Missing golf carts and bank deposits were part of a police investigation into the golf operations at Dayton's Community Golf Course, according to records obtained by the I-Team.

Police also reported eight people had paid money for memberships that were not deposited.

The total value of the stolen golf carts and cash was estimated at $60,954. The city of Dayton did not file charges in the case.

The city did terminate its contract in September with golf pro Chadwick Walther and his company, Walther Golf, LLC.
