Cincinnati man accused of armed robbery of Uber driver

A Cincinnati man suspected of robbing an Uber driver in Clermont County was in the Warren County Jail facing 10 charges, including three counts of aggravated robbery.

Jesse D. Jividen, 18, Cincinnati, is suspected of using a friend’s Uber account to schedule the Uber ride from Mason to Newtonsville, east of Cincinnati in Clermont County on Jan. 14, according to a search warrant issued in February.

Jividen is alleged to have used a gun he stole the same day from a Mason garage and used in an armed robbery on Somerset Drive in Mason, according to the affidavit used to get a cellphone searched for evidence.

Jividen was arrested on Feb. 20 at the Mason Police Department, according to jail records.

Jividen was in jail Monday, scheduled for arraignment on Wednesday in Warren County Common Pleas Court.
