A Craigslist sale went awry when a man was allegedly robbed at gunpoint after he met with a potential buyer in West Chester Twp.

The alleged incident occurred near the Steak ‘n Shake and Verizon stores on Civic Centre Boulevard at 12:15 p.m. May 6.
A man was trying to sell his iPhone X, valued at $1,149, to a buyer he met on Craigslist, according to West Chester Twp. spokeswoman Barb Wilson.

“The individual showed up, he showed him the phone and the guy from Craigslist pulled a handgun and took off with the phone,” Wilson said.
No arrests have been made.
