James Rapier, 42, pleaded guilty in January to coercing two teenage girls to send him sexually explicit photos.
Rapier was already a registered sex offender during those incidents due to a 2000 conviction of gross sexual imposition and corruption of a minor, according to the DOJ.
In 2005, Rapier was classified as a habitual sex offender after being convicted of pandering obscenity involving a minor.
