Dayton police said in a narrative filed with the case that they were called to Miami Valley Hospital for a report of a rape in the early morning of Jan. 14.
“(The victim) stated she had just been raped by an acquaintance, Ledonte Washington, inside a residence,” the narrative says.
The woman told police that Washington had sex with her against her will, laid on top of her and used his body weight to hold her down during the assault, according to the narrative.
Part of the indictment references an intoxicant being used in the rape.
“…With the purpose of preventing resistance, the offender substantially impaired the other’s person’s judgment or control by administering any drug, intoxicant or controlled substance to the other person surreptitiously or by force, the threat of force or deception,” the indictment says.
The woman’s family told this news origination at the time that her daughter was drugged.

“She was totally out of it, numb, slobbering, couldn’t open her eyes,” the woman’s mother said of her daughter after the rape. “I was devastated.”
She told her mother the suspect gave her some marijuana, but that she felt “very weird” after that.
“She was asking him to take her home, take her home, and he pushed her down and had non-consensual sex with her,” the mother said.
A next court date in the case was not set Tuesday morning.
