A 42-year-old Dayton man was indicted Tuesday in connection to an armed burglary and assault last month at a Dayton apartment.
Jeffrey Burney will be arraigned Thursday on two counts of aggravated burglary and one count of felonious assault, each with a three-year firearm specification; possession of cocaine, also a felony; and a misdemeanor drug paraphernalia offense, according to a Montgomery County grand jury report.
The charges stem from an Aug. 15 incident at an apartment in the 300 block of Superior Avenue in Dayton, that happened while a man was inside the apartment, according to the indictment.
Burney has been held in the Montgomery County Jail since his Aug. 16 arrest.
