An arrest warrant has been issued for a Dayton man who was indicted Friday in connection to a deadly shooting early this month at an apartment complex.
Karlton Stephone Jones, 24, was indicted in Montgomery County Common Pleas Court on two counts of murder and two counts of felonious assault.
Jones is accused of killing Chendo “BJ” Lamont Buford Jr. on March 2 at the Eagle Ridge Apartments.
“Dayton Police were dispatched to an apartment on Northcrest Drive on a report of a shooting,” a press release from the county prosecutor’s office said. “Upon arrival, they located the deceased body of 26‐year‐old Chendo Lamont Buford Jr., who had been shot multiple times. Multiple eyewitnesses identified the defendant as the shooter.”
