Dayton man indicted for rape of child younger than 10

A 28-year-old Dayton man pleaded not guilty Tuesday to rape of a child younger than 10.

Thomas Leach was arraigned in Montgomery County Common Pleas Court, where his bond was set at $250,000 with electronic home detention if he posted bond.

He remains in the Montgomery County Jail, where he has been held since his Aug. 29 arrest.

FIRST REPORT

A 28-year-old Dayton man was indicted Friday, accused of the rape of a child younger than 10, according to a grand jury report.

Thomas Leach will be arraigned Tuesday for rape and misdemeanor resisting arrest in Montgomery County Common Pleas Court following his Friday indictment.

He is in the Montgomery County Jail, where he has been held since Dayton police arrested him Aug. 29 at his home.
