Jackeem Alexander Collins, 18, of Mason, is facing two counts of murder, eight counts of felonious assault and a weapons charge, according to a charges filed Friday in Dayton Municipal Court.

Meanwhile, the coach of the Dayton’s Wolverine track club, who Qua’lek ran with for several years, said his team is coming together to support each other and Qua’lek’s family.
“It’s like a family,” Keith Ways said. “We are just trying to comfort and be there for the Shelton family. He was part of our family and we need to be there for his family.”
He said the Shelton family is “holding up as well as you can expect.”
