Domino’s Pizza driver robbed on Bragg Place

A Domino’s Pizza driver was robbed while making a delivery early Sunday morning in the zero to 100 block of Bragg Place.

An officer was called to the store on West Third Street shortly after midnight, according to the Dayton police report.

The driver told police he was walking back to his vehicle with cash in hand after delivering pizzas when someone from a group of loiters approached him and asked for change, according to the report.

The report states the robber grabbed the cash in the driver’s hand and the driver let go after seeing the robber reach toward his waistline, as if he was going to draw a firearm.

The robber was described as a male, 30 to 36 years old, wearing a white and turquoise shirt and turquoise pants.

The robber got away with about $60 and the driver, who told police he’d been robbed before, said he would be able to recognize the robber if he saw him again, according to the report.
