Hooks was headed north on Diamond Mill Road when she struck a silver 1999 Honda Civic headed west on National Road. Its driver, Christopher Biddle, now 30, of West Alexandria, suffered incapacitating injuries, the OSP said.

“The front half of (the Civic) struck a flagpole in the yard of a house ... the rear half of (the Civic) struck a parked UPS truck,” the crash report stated. Biddle had to be freed from the wreckage and flown to Miami Valley Hospital.
A Brookville Local Schools bus headed north on Diamond Mill Road sustained front-end damage. The bus driver and 18 children aboard -- who ranged in age from 9 to 16 -- were not injured.

Hooks and her passenger, 32-year-old Christina Hall of Columbus, were not injured.
Hooks is charged with aggravated vehicular assault, vehicular assault, OVI and three drug-related charges, according to a Montgomery County grand jury report. She is ordered to appear Jan. 25 for arraignment in county Common Pleas Court.
