Hamilton man, 22, killed in early-morning shooting on Tuesday

A Hamilton man was shot and killed early Tuesday morning at a residence on Charlton Court, according to police.

Officers were called to residence in the 700 block of Charlton and found Darrian Keneal Shamel had been shot. Shamel, 22, was transported to Fort Hamilton Hospital, where he died a short time later.

The case is under investigation, and the police are releasing no additional information. Anyone with information about the homicide is asked to call Detective David Weissinger at 513-868-5811, ext. 1296 or Detective Robert Horton at 513-868-5811, ext. 1236.
