High speed chase; Houston Police pursue suspected bank robbers

At around 12 p.m. EST,  Houston Police were led on a high speed chase that started at an Amegy Bank in Bissonnet according to KHOU in Houston.

Bellaire police began chasing the suspected bank robbers and Houston police joined them. The suspects were said to be traveling at speeds of over 100 mph and running over sidewalks in residential neighborhoods.

The two suspects were eventually arrested when their tire exploded and they tried to flee on foot.
