Judge Stacy Wall said Maxwell would go to prison despite pleas for community control due to his age and growing health issues. “There is absolutely no excuse in the world” for his behavior, Wall said.
A relative of the victim called Maxwell “a monster” who “deserves to be put in a cage.”
