2, including juvenile, indicted in Vandalia robbery at gunpoint

Jayden Kurrek, 16, and Deion D. Moore, 23, were indicted Monday on multiple charges in connection to the may 2 incident at the hotel, 7070 Poe Ave.

In August, officials released this photo of Jayden Kurrek. At the time, there was a warrant for his arrest for a robbery, and he was identified as a person of interest in the June 9 death of Ohio Dominican football player Jonte Tinsley  in Harrison Twp, though Kurrek has not been charged in the case. Kurrek was indicted Oct. 21 as an adult in Montgomery County Common Pleas Court in connection to the May 2 robbery of a man at the Hawthorn Suites by Wyndham in Vandalia.

Moore has been in the Montgomery County Jail since his Sept. 25 arrest by Vandalia police, and Kurrek in the county Juvenile Detention Center.

They will appear Thursday for arraignment in Montgomery County Common Pleas Court.
