Indianapolis police officer shot, second injured

The CBS affiliate in Indianapolis, cbs4indy.com, is reporting that one Indianapolis police officer has been shot and wounded, while another officer has been injured in an incident that ended in a pursuit.

The news station reports that after the shooting, a chase began on the city’s northwest side about 6:45 p.m.

How the second officer was injured has not been made clear. The conditions of the officers is not known.
