On Monday, Florida Highway Patrol trooper Steve Montiero pulled over a man in Orlando because his tag "didn't quite look right," WPLG reported.
That's because the tag was "renewed" by using a permanent marker, according to WPLG.
The man wasn’t fined or arrested, WPLG reported.
Instead, his “punishment” was becoming the butt of a joke, courtesy of an FHP post on Twitter.
