Law enforcement officials are searching for a 17-year-old who left her mother’s house in April and hasn’t been heard from since.

Destinie Spells left her mother’s house on April 23, Miami Valley Crime Stoppers Coordinator Zachariah Hastings said. Law enforcement has checked areas where she might be with no results and is hoping anyone that spots her will contact them.

“At this time there is no reason to believe anything suspicious has happened,” he said. “Her mom, rightfully so, is just extremely worried about her and wants to know she is OK.”
