He pleaded guilty Monday to sexual battery and gross sexual imposition. The female victim was known to him and was under the age of 8 at the time of the offense, according to Cheri Stout, assistant Greene County prosecuting attorney.
Stookey will also be on probation for five years after release and will be a sexual offender the rest of his life.
The offense happened in Sugarcreek Twp.
In 2001, Stookey was sentenced to two years in prison for gross sexual imposition and contributing to unruliness charge in Warren County.
