Man charged in deadly 2019 crash in Butler Twp.

A 24-year-old Dayton man was charged with vehicular homicide in connection to a deadly crash in Butler Twp. last October.

William S. Bush was also cited with failure to control, OVI and driving under financial responsibility, according to Vandalia Municipal Court records.

Bush tested positive for cannabinoids, according to a crash report.

Just before 2 a.m. on Oct. 10, Bush was driving west on Benchwood Drive in his 2012 Nisan Altima with two passengers, Michael White III and Reonna Jackson.

He drove off the road and into a tree, causing the car to roll onto its side, according to the report.

Both passengers had to be removed from the car using mechanical means.

Bush, White and Jackson were all taken to Miami Valley Hospital.

White died on Oct. 12 from blunt force trauma to the head and neck, according to the Montgomery County Coroner’s Office.

Bush is scheduled to appear in court on July 23 for his arraignment.
