Police were skeptical, but the man indicated he might have smoked something, and maybe also took some Jimson seed — a strong hallucinogen.
It took three tasers to get him to calm down and he was taken to a nearby hospital.
The original call came from an alarm set off by a broken glass in the church door. A brick found nearby may have been the cause of that. No nearby vehicle was found that could have transported the man to the area, nor were any clothes found.
At the hospital, he did not blow up.
