A 17-year-old Middletown boy was charged with assaulting a police officer, obstructing official business and disorderly conduct following a party in the 400 block of Moore Street. The teen yelled and cursed at the police officers at the scene. He pushed an officer and took off running. He was apprehended two blocks east of the residence. Police were unsuccessful locating his mother.

A Middletown woman told police that her ex-boyfriend allegedly withdrew $20 out of her account on three occasions. With the fees, the withdrawals equaled $86.
May 5
A man and woman allegedly walked into P&G Food Mart, 2086 Cincinnati-Dayton Road, and stole seven colognes, totaling $24.50. The owner said they took turns distracting him. He said he wanted to pursue theft charges against them.
Two juveniles were caught allegedly stealing $3.57 worth of merchandise from UDF, 101 N. Verity Parkway. The juveniles were found at Trinity Place apartments and admitted to stealing the items. They were released to their relatives.
Two candy bars were stolen from UDF, 101 N. Verity Parkway. The store’s surveillance camera showed a subject stealing the candy. Police were unable to find the suspect.
A corrections officer found a blue pill and white substance on the booking table inside the booking room of the Middletown City Jail. The officer said she didn’t know where the items came from.
A Hamilton man said someone stole an iPhone 4S while he was at a party in Middletown. He didn’t know the address of the party.

A Summit Academy student, 15, was found to have marijuana and a lighter in his sock at school. He was charged with drug abuse/marijuana and drug abuse/paraphernalia.
Someone stole a concrete bird bath before 9:22 a.m. from a home in the 1300 block of Hood Avenue.
Someone stole a wooden bench that sat near a mailbox before 10 a.m. from a home in the 1900 block of Fernwood Street.
