UPDATE @ 8:19 p.m.: The two males arrested stemming from the meth lab raid have been taken to the Darke County Jail, said a law enforcement official on scene.
They were wearing hospital gowns in the garage of the house, where the cooking of the chemicals was occurring, because the area is infested with bedbugs, the supervisor said.
The raid is part of a weeklong investigation that includes police from Union City, Ohio, and Union City, Ind., as well as the Darke County Sheriff's Office.
Authorities now are awaiting the arrival of a search warrant as well as an official with the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation, who will inspect the meth lab before it is totally dismantled.
EARLIER: Authorities are on the scene of an active meth lab and have taken two males into custody.
