Moraine police arrest 'large scale drug dealer'

A man described by Moraine police as a "large scale drug dealer" in south Dayton has been arrested.

Darion Stargell, 24, is in Montgomery County Jail today. Moraine police said they will charge him with felonies for trafficking heroin and crack cocaine, drug possession of heroin and tampering with evidence.

Officers also arrested David Hunt, 22, during the narcotics operation. They said Hunt is currently on parole for an aggravated robbery conviction.

Hunt is charged with felonies for trafficking heroin and crack cocaine, fleeing and eluding and vandalism, as well as permitting drug abuse, according to Moraine police.

Both men were taken into custody on Monday.

Moraine police said both men have past arrests for drug offenses and other crimes.
