Kosher, who has aliases including Jay Rocc, Jay Deep and Jay Rich on his indictment, is accused of stealing Latonya Chapman's black 2011 Dodge Charger on Oct. 14, two days before the Dayton police chase and crash.

According to a Beavercreek police traffic crash report, Kosher on Oct. 16 was speeding while heading west in the eastbound lanes of U.S. 35. He then entered the median as he approached the two U.S. 35 bridges — one for east traffic and the other for west — over Grange Hall Road. Kosher went in between bridges, went airborne and landed on the sidewalk below, traveled across Grange Hall Road and struck a guardrail, the report stated.
Chapman spoke to News Center 7 back in October about how she was shocked to see her car on the TV news.
She said her car was stolen from the parking lot of a Trotwood auto body shop, where she had taken it for repair work.

Kosher is in the Montgomery County Jail, where has been held since Oct. 17.
He is due in court Dec. 26 for his arraignment on the new charges in Montgomery County Common Pleas Court.
Kosher previously was indicted for failure to comply with an order or signal of a police officer and receiving stolen property in connection to the Oct. 16 crash. He has pleaded not guilty to those charges.
