Piqua man sentenced to over 4 years in prison for unlawful sexual conduct with teen

TROY - A 38-year-old Piqua man convicted of sexual conduct with a 15 -year-old girl who subsequently gave birth was sentenced Monday, July 10, to 54 months in prison.

Aaron Maxon pleaded guilty in May in Miami County Common Pleas Court to felony unlawful sexual conduct with a minor. He was accused of sexual conduct with the minor female in April 2016.

Maxon told Judge Christopher Gee he "made a bad choice" and wanted to apologize to the victim and her family.

Janna Parker, an assistant county prosecutor, said the girl would suffer a lifelong impact from Maxon's choices and asked for a prison term.
