Vehicle involved in Trotwood hit-and-run may be stolen, involved in other crimes in Harrison Twp.

Police are investigating after a reported hit-and-run crash at Hoover Avenue and Scottswood Road.

In scanner traffic, dispatcher said that a woman called to say that she was in a crash and sustained a head injury, but the other vehicle had left the scene. However, after Trotwood Police arrived they found an unoccupied vehicle that they said was suspected to be involved.

Trotwood police said that this second vehicle was connected to a crime in Harrison Township that happened recently.

A K9 unit was requested to the scene, but our crews reported that they didn’t see one there.

In scanner traffic dispatchers refer to the second vehicle as stolen.

Our crews reported seeing a silver four-door sedan be taken from the area on a flatbed truck.
