Mason man shot in leg outside Hamilton pet store, police continue search for suspect

Police continue to search for a 22-year-old man wanted in connection with Thursday afternoon’s shooting in front of a Main Street pet store.

Rickardo Harris is wanted on charges of felonious assault and aggravated robbery.

Police say Amir Sabur Armstrong of Mason was shot in the leg in front of Pet Valu in the 1400 block of Main Street on Thursday and taken to a local hospital. Property also was taken from Armstrong and a second victim, who was not shot, according to a police report.

Officers responded around 2:15 p.m. Thursday.
