Report: Tools stolen from Dayton business during break-in

An unknown amount of miscellaneous tools were stolen from a Dayton business during a break-in, according to a police incident report.

The suspect(s) broke into CTC Plastics, 401 N. Keowee St., between Friday and Sunday night.

The manager told police someone pried open the maintenance door with an unknown object, entered the building and then went through several tool boxes consisting of thousands of dollars in tools, the report read.

An inventory of missing items is still ongoing at this time.

No arrests have been made.
