Money was stolen from a Springfield insurance business early Saturday morning after a rock was thrown through a window.

The Springfield Police Division responded to American Heritage Insurance Group, 1305 W. First St., on a report of an alarm call at about 5:20 a.m. Saturday, according to a police report.
The door was broken and a rock was found under a chair. An area with cubicles also had cabinets open and paper tossed around the office, the report said. A cash register was also found to have its drawer open.

An employee arrived on scene and told police and unkown amount of money was missing from the cash register.
No charges were filed due to a lack of information.
