Sexual predator accused of new child sex crimes in Dayton

A Dayton sexual predator was indicted this week on suspicion of new child sex charges.

David D. Leet, 36, is accused again of sex crimes and will appear Tuesday for arraignment in Montgomery County Common Pleas Court. He was indicted on two counts of gross sexual imposition involving a child younger than 13; both charges have sexually violent predator specifications according to a county grand jury report released Tuesday.

Leet is listed a a sexual predator on the sex offender registry on the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office website. He was convicted in January 2004 for gross sexual imposition involving a girl younger than 13. At the time of his indictment, he was still serving a five-year probation term following his 10-year prison sentence, according to the Ohio Department of Rehabilitation & Correction website.
