Two victims shot after suspect steals car at Harrison Twp. gas station

Police are investigating a shooting at the Valero gas station at 2800 Philadelphia Drive where a victim fled the scene. Two victims arrived at Grandview Hospital, according to a release.

Initial investigations showed that a suspect approached one of the victims and attempted to steal his car. The second victim confronted the suspect and attempted to take his gun away. Both victims were shot during the altercation, the release said.

The suspect fled the scene in a Dodge Magnum that is either dark gray or flat black. The victims were taken to the hospital in a friend’s vehicle. Both victims were released from the hospital with minor injuries, the release said.

The suspect is a male with shoulder-length dreaded hair and was wearing a white t-shirt, black sweatpants and black shoes with dark orange or red bottoms. He was reported to be heavily tattoed on both arms, including on his hands and fingers.

The incident is under investigation by the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office.
