Already released earlier in the day after being picked up on drug charges, a suspect was fingered by his sister as the person she thought may have broken into her house in the 2400 block Eden Lane, taking some items as well as a 1999 Caravan parked in front of the house.
A bedroom window was found open, allowing entry.
The sister said her brother had broken into her home and stolen from her before, and that he had drug problems.
Also missing from the garage was a key chain with keys to four different vehicles. The vehicle taken had no muffler, making it as easy to hear as see, and a neighbor saw a man start it and drive off.
Police were looking and listening for him.
