On the same day, officers found Taylor in a vehicle that allegedly didn’t belong to him in the 100 block of East Cecil Street. Officers tried to get him out of the vehicle, according to court records, but they couldn’t reach him. An officer attempted to use his Taser on Taylor but it was unsuccessful. Officers chased him on Cassilly Street before losing sight of him.
On July 10, Taylor was charged with theft after he allegedly stole items from a local auto parts store and was later arrested after being chased by an employee.
Taylor’s DNA was allegedly found in June at the Nightingale Montessori school on E. Main St. He allegedly broke into the building through a window and stole a 55-inch television.

He’s also alleged to have stolen two packs of diapers from the Dollar General store on Derr Road in June.
Last December, Taylor allegedly climbed through an exhaust fan and broke into a drive-thru on East Leffel Lane, taking $300 and beer and cigarettes. Taylor’s DNA was also allegedly found at the scene, according to police report.
