Springfield woman accused of trying to bribe court witness

A Clark County grand jury has indicted a Springfield woman for allegedly offering to pay a witness to not testify in court.

Loretta Adams, 56, of 424 Lyle Ave., was faces one charge of felony bribery, according to court records.

Adams allegedly offered to pay a witness in an ongoing aggravated burglary case to not come to testify in front of a grand jury in the case, Clark County Prosecutor Andy Wilson said.

That burglary case is still ongoing, Wilson said.

Adams is scheduled to appear in a Clark County Common Pleas court Thursday afternoon for her arraignment.

Timothy Allen Adkins, 30, 1527 W. Main St.: Abduction, attempted rape, domestic violence, disrupting public service.

Bill Lee Seagraves, 29: Abduction, aggravated menacing.

Danial Roseman, 34, Xenia, Ohio: Burglary, forgery.

Howard Matthew Isley, 49, 910 S. Limestone St.: Operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol or drugs (two counts).
