“The victim appeared to have gray/pink tint to the skin and was in a state of lividity,” the report said.
Officers interviewed Palomino at the scene, who told police she had last checked on the infant at 5 a.m., the report said.
“Palomino stated that she checked on her child again around 11 a.m. and realized that he was unresponsive and not breathing, Palomino then called the police,” the report said.

According to the police report, the infant’s death has been listed as “unspecified.”
The Springfield News-Sun has requested a copy of Rhydyn Palomino’s autopsy from the Clark County Coroner’s Office to learn more about how he died but has not yet received a response.
As of Friday afternoon, Palomino was listed as an inmate in the Clark County Jail.
Her next court date has not yet been scheduled, according to online court records, and she has yet to be given a bond.
