Kristi Kraft told News Center 7’s Katy Andersen that her daughter was on the playground when another student came up to her and started punching her in the head and neck.

The entire thing was caught on school surveillance video, she said.

Kraft added that the student has been bullying her daughter for months now.

“It breaks your heart,” she said. “You want to be there to protect your children and you can’t always be. I can’t be with them at school every day, but I just have to have faith in the schools... I do believe they took all of the correct measure that should have happened Friday in this case.”
